Theresa Jones brings a decade of Human Resources leadership to her clients as an HR Consultant.
Theresa received a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource & Leadership Development from Louisiana State University in 2006.
She began her career in the construction industry as a college student working part-time as a Project Administrator for a General Contractor in 2001. In 2005, when her HR coursework required her to complete an internship, Theresa chose to work with that organization in the development of the company’s Human Resources Department. Upon graduating from LSU, Theresa assumed the position of Human Resource Manager. In 2009, Theresa obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. The company saw consistent growth and geographic diversification over the next few years. In 2011, Theresa was promoted to Director of Human Resources.
In an effort to be in the driver’s seat of her career and schedule, Theresa founded this small consulting business. As an advocate of improving employee’s lives and organizational performance, she is working with organizations to develop programs like company-sponsored leadership training and performance coaching to promote empowerment and opportunities for growth.
As an active member of the Baton Rouge community, Theresa is affiliated with numerous professional and non-profit organizations. She has served as President and a member of the Board of Directors for the LSU Construction Industry Advisory Board (CIAC). She has also served as President and Secretary of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
Theresa lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with her husband, Matt and their two sons, Christian and John Pierre.
